- Areas where groups of kids (or adults) get together to play ball games. These might be actual courts or pitches, or simply an available space.
- Under or close to trees – especially after heavy snow or storms as winds may have damaged branches.
- Unpaved, badly maintained, or under construction roads. Each of these can mean that debris is lying around, ready to cause damage – perhaps when thrown up by other passing vehicles.
